<Under The Moonlight> This album is the first phase of musician ChaCha’s transi-tion to recording under her given name, YEHAIYAHAN. This is not a showcase of overnight success, but rather a document of transformation and growth. It has un-dergone a long process of demolition and reconstruction, a process full of doubt and uncertainty, often uneasy, unfamiliar and uncomfortable, but at the same time surging with ecstasy and hope. On many nights, thoughts born under the moonlight repeatedly pushed past one another, consoled one another, slowly carried her to-ward the place she dreamt of going — both a return to roots, and the beginning of new exploration.

The album includes eight original songs composed, arranged, recorded, and pro-duced by YEHAIYAHAN. Two songs feature special guests, her friends Yao Chun-yang (“Sleepless”) and Soulspeak (“Know You More”). The album was mixed and mastered by Shen Lijia, founder of Beijing record label RAN Music. The cover art is by artist Nini Sum, co-founder of Shanghai screen-printing studio IdleBeats. The digital album will be released globally on August 16, 2019 by Alpha Pup Records (LA).

For the album’s physical release, YEHAIYAHAN and IdleBeats have once again joined forces to present a collectible silkscreen print, featuring art by Nini Sum. The image is inspired by the music of <Under The Moonlight> —a surreal, fantastical moon frames YEHAIYAHAN’s profile in dramatic silhouette, flanked by mountains and ocean. The silkscreened image for the physical release is a special version of the album’s cover art.

The prints accompanying the limited physical release are handmade —their warm texture and the penetrating colors reflect the textures and timbres of the music itself.

<Under The Moonlight> physical album includes a custom, wood-framed silkscreen print, handwritten signature card, and album download code. Dimensions: small painting with frame size: 13.8x19.6cm; outer package net size: length 22cmX width 16cmX height 4.5cm, weight: 250g. Limited edition to 300.
